God wants You to be in His Family...

God has always loved you and wants you to walk with Him.  That was possible from the beginning until
Man sinned. (1) The fact is that we have all sinned. (2)  If we continue in this sin we will never have a
hope of being with God; God is absolutely holy. (3)

The good news is that we don’t have to die in our sins— Jesus died for us.  (4)  In fact, God says it this
way “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.” (5)  This is God’s way of showing His love for you— in
sending Jesus, His only Son, to die on the cross for you.

Do you understand that you are a sinner?  Do you understand the penalty that must be paid for your
sin?  Do you understand that Jesus died for you?  If so, then there is no reason that you should not
accept Jesus as your personal Savior.  The Bible says that we must only accept Jesus with the faith of a
child, calling upon Him.  (6)

Would you pray this prayer from your heart?

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner, and I understand that I need your forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus
died on the cross in my place and paid for my sins and that He rose from the dead.  I am now accepting
Jesus as my Savior.  Thank you for making me your child because of Jesus;  Amen.

If you have received Jesus into your heart, the Bible says you are a child of God! (7) We are so happy
for you!  You can begin to grow in your new relationship with the Lord at a church that preaches the
